A lot's changed since the Paleolithic Era. But on a basic level, the paleo diet of early humans can be a path to good health in modern times.
What is a paleo diet?
It's pretty safe to assume our hunting and gathering human ancestors ate a diet comprised mostly of:
- Organic, free-range meats (nose to tail!)
- Fresh-caught fish
- Pesticide-free, in-season fruits and vegetables
I hope you enjoy my modern take on ways to work paleo recipes into your cooking routine. I believe cultured and fermented dairy can be beneficial foods. However, for a strict paleo diet, leave them out.
